Position Summary The HR Generalist runs the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role acts as a trusted advisor to employees and management, ensuring a positive workplace culture while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience. 2–3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a strong plus. MS Office, Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Sprout, Success Factors) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus. Solid understanding of employment laws Core Competencies Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Discretion: Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute integrity. Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and conflict-resolution capabilities. Organization: High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
