Essential duties Recruitment & Selection · Be aware and updated on all Canon manpower requirements and liaise with hiring managers on the specifications of the roles. · Act as the central contact for all potential candidates for Canon vacancies. · Regular monitoring of helpdesk tickets, HR connect requisition ensuring that all are reviewed and actioned in a timely manner. · Administer and manage the CBSC Careers inbox ensuring all enquiries are responded in a prompt manner. · Conduct Resume and Phone Screening of candidates for short listing via the Candidate Database · Recommend qualified candidates for different roles based on the requirements of the role. · Process candidate’s applications including interviews and reference check request from hiring managers. · Develop and maintain a strong pool of candidates for upcoming vacancies within Canon. · Update candidates thru phone calls on the status of their application with Canon. · Maintain and update CBSC Recruitment Database · Conduct assessment / testing to candidates as required by the role. · Conduct HR in-depth interviews · Present job offers and facilitate the offer acceptance process. · Liaise with external recruitment agencies as needed. · Reinforce Canon recruitment policy and procedures with Canon Managers as related to Company vision and values and relevant legislation. · Highlight areas of continuous improvement to both recruitment/HR Connect processes and site issues as they arise. · Develop different recruitment strategies, such as but not limited to, career fairs, recruitment open house activities, and university partnerships to create a strong talent pool. · Partake in process improvement meetings/workshops with local P&C and/or shared Talent Acquisition team · Produce monthly and ad hoc reports as required · Filing and general administrative tasks · Assist the HR Team as reasonably required Qualifications · Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline · 2 years related work experience · Knowledge and exposure to a range of HR issues and practices especially in recruitment preferred. · Knowledge of recruitment practices and selection techniques (end to end process) · Knowledge of general HR practices (Labor relations, Benefits, training, etc) · Demonstrated attention to detail and customer satisfaction focus. · Sound computer literacy and knowledge of HRIS tool. · Ability to complete functional tasks and set priorities. · Ability to respond with a sense of urgency. · Ability to influence and advise managers when required. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with representational and liaison skills. · Maintain the security of confidential information and documents. · Demonstrate leadership through Canon knowledge and expertise. · Demonstrate the ability to deliver and exceed expectations.
