We’re looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join our Sanford Bioactive team in Marlborough. About the role This is a key role supporting food safety, site compliance and quality across Bioactives and ENZAQ. You’ll work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and operational teams to maintain high standards, strengthen quality processes and drive continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing Maintain our RMP licence and ensure compliance with MPI and overseas market requirements. Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). Lead the site QC and compliance team. Manage non-conformance processes and investigate customer complaints. Plan and manage RMP and MSC audits. Monitor product quality, specifications, CCPs and quality documentation. Lead internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Work with operations to improve product quality and reduce repeat quality issues. Support new product development and QC/QA process validations. Ensure operations meet customer and food safety requirements. Identify and escalate quality, compliance and food safety issues. What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who has: Previous leadership experience is preferred. Experience working in a food production environment. A strong understanding of sensory and quality evaluation. Quality experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a quality role. Tertiary or relevant industry qualifications are preferred. Seafood or food manufacturing experience would be an advantage. You’ll be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships, make sound decisions and work collaboratively across quality, operations and other stakeholders. For consideration you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand. As part of our recruitment process, pre-employment checks may include a criminal history check, drug and alcohol testing and a medical assessment.
