Audit Assistant Manager / Audit Manager

Job Description Oversee audit engagements from planning to completion, directing timelines, fieldwork, and deliverables for a client portfolio. Review and analyze financial statement information, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses, and monitor working papers prepared by the team. Assess clients’ internal control systems, coordinate test-of-control procedures (e.g. inventory counts), and evaluate risk areas via sampling and vouching. Ensure financial statements and audit reports comply with regulatory standards. Serve as main client liaison, updating on audit progress, and manage partners interaction. Coach and supervise audit staff, conduct reviews and support performance development. Identify technical and accounting issues, propose management recommendations, and assist partner in preparing client billing and budgets. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements Possess a recognized degree in accounting and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent. At least 5 years of audit experience in a professional services environment (Big 4 or equivalent), including demonstrated supervisory duty. Fluent in audit regulatory standards. Strong reporting and communication skills; able to present findings confidently to audit partners or senior stakeholders. Proactive, detail‑oriented, resourceful; able to manage multiple engagements against tight submission deadlines. Demonstrate proactivity, resourcefulness, innovation, and a keen eye for detail.
