About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Shah Alam. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable activities. Key responsibilities Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery documentation. Ensure timely and accurate payment processing. Reconcile vendor statements and supplier accounts. Monitor outstanding payables and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Prepare and manage payment schedules and payment runs. Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes. Assist with audit requirements and supporting documentation. About you Strong finance knowledge including cash flow, budgeting, and basic financial analysis. Solid accounting fundamentals and familiarity with general ledger postings. Experience in account reconciliation and variance resolution. Experience in invoice processing, invoice matching, and payment preparation. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is an advantage.
