About the role TACHI-S Automotive Seating (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is seeking a Senior Material Supervisor to join our operations team in Samut Prakan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management and movement of materials throughout our automotive seating manufacturing facility. As Senior Material Supervisor, you will oversee material handling operations, coordinate logistics, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support our production scheduling and delivery commitments. What you'll be doing As Senior Material Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: Supervising and managing the material handling team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and components to production areas Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock audits to ensure material availability Scheduling material movement and logistics to align with production planning and customer delivery requirements Monitoring material flow throughout the manufacturing process and identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies Collaborating with production planning and procurement teams to optimise material procurement and allocation Implementing and maintaining material management systems and procedures Training and developing team members on material handling best practices and safety standards Monitoring warehouse organisation and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Reporting on material management metrics and suggesting continuous improvements What we're looking for To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in material management, logistics, or warehouse operations supervision Proven experience in automotive or manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material handling procedures Demonstrated experience in production scheduling and material planning Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and material tracking software Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team Knowledge of health and safety standards in warehouse and manufacturing environments Excellent communication skills in Thai and preferably English Problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and efficiency Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment What we offer At TACHI-S Automotive Seating (Thailand) Co., Ltd., we are committed to providing a rewarding and supportive work environment.
