Introduction Navia is a leading international freight company specializing in global logistics solutions. This role is part of our GRC team, supporting our operations in Australia to ensure seamless and compliant business processes. Job Description Account Payable Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding, approval, and entry into the system. Reconcile supplier statements against the AP ledger and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process payment runs accurately and on time. Accounts Receivable Process accounts receivable transactions and apply customer payments accurately. Perform daily receipting of incoming payments. Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain the AR debtor ledger. Prepare and send monthly debtor statements. Monitor debtor days and escalate overdue or at-risk accounts as required. Reconciliation & Reporting Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Assist with month-end close activities relating to AR and AP. Job Requirement Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude or similar) will be an added advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Able to work on Public Holidays.
