We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office : Student Affairs Officer (Ref: 26001UD) Major Duties and Responsibilities: The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Coordinating and organizing student whole-person development and leadership programmes; Guiding students’ success through out-of-classroom learning and fostering a strong sense of belonging within the university community; Maintaining alumni networks and assisting in the planning and execution of global learning initiatives (occasional overseas travel and weekend work may be required); Providing clerical and secretarial support to maintain the operational efficiency of the team and the office; Delivering frontline support, handling enquiries from stakeholders at all levels, and liaising with internal and external partners; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes: A recognized degree with solid post-qualification working experience in project management. Relevant work experience in student development or career development within the tertiary education sector is preferred; A strong passion for higher education and a dedication to cultivating university students; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Cantonese (including Putonghua); Highly self-motivated, attentive to detail and fast-learning with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility; A proactive problem solver who is capable of working independently while collaborating effectively as a team player; and Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
