Duties and Essential Job Functions Provide one-on-one support to a special needs student. Assist the student with classwork, assignments, and activities Support the student in following instructions and classroom rules. Encourage social interaction and communication with peers. Manage and support behavioral and emotional challenges. Work closely with teachers and parents to track progress. Foster independence and confidence in the student. Record and track the student’s behavior, progress, and learning development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field. A master’s degree in Special Education or a similar qualification is often preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience working with children or in a similar role is preferred. Proven experience teaching special education students in a classroom or one-on-one setting. Experience in international schools is an advantage. Teaching license preferred Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high degree of patience, empathy, and understanding of individual student needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
