About the role We are looking for suitably qualified candidates aspiring to excel and take on leadership position within accountancy and corporate service provider outfit to join our Business Solutions division as Accounting Senior. Key responsibilities Client Portfolio and Accounting Operations: Manage the full set of accounts for a portfolio of clients, either independently or with support from assistants, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and service quality. Financial Closing and Reporting: Handle month-end closing activities, prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packages, and ensure financial information is delivered accurately and on schedule. Outsourced Finance Function: Support clients’ day-to-day outsourced finance operations, including accounts payable processing, payroll, bookkeeping, and general accounting activities. Financial Statements and Technical Accounting: Prepare financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and support the consolidation of simple to complex group accounts, while resolving technical accounting issues as they arise. Advisory and Business Support: Assist in financial management services, consultancy assignments, business advisory projects, and other ad-hoc assignments that support client and business needs. Requirements At least 5 to 7 years working experience in in similar field with some years of external audit experience or outsourcing function within corporate service providers. For those with only audit experience, at least 3 years continuous audit experience and have experience leading engagement in the recent 7 years. Degree in Accountancy, CA, ACCA, CPA Australia or other equivalent professional qualifications with good academic results. Well-versed with SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices. Good knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of modern automation tools and those with IT background or experience are encouraged to apply. Sincere, alert and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal, and written communication skill.
