Commercial Cleaning Supervisor

About the role This is a practical, hands-on role managing a multicultural team of 13+ staff across multiple client sites. You will divide your time between site visits, quality-control inspections, client communication and working from home on scheduling and administration. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Some flexibility is essential to respond to operational requirements. Key responsibilities Managing, supporting and coordinating a team of 13+ cleaners Preparing schedules and arranging staff cover Conducting site visits, inspections and quality-control checks Training and coaching staff to maintain consistent standards Communicating effectively with a multicultural team, including employees who speak English as an additional language Building strong client relationships and responding to feedback or complaints Monitoring staff hours, workloads and performance Interviewing and helping onboard new team members Preparing routine cleaning scopes, pricing and quotations Coordinating equipment, cleaning products and consumables About you Proven experience managing or supervising people Experience working with multicultural teams Strong customer-service and communication skills The ability to give clear, respectful instructions to people with different levels of English Experience with site inspections or quality control Strong scheduling, organisation and problem-solving skills Confidence using email, calendars, spreadsheets and online systems A full, clean New Zealand driver licence The legal right to work in New Zealand Recent New Zealand employment experience and contactable New Zealand work references Benefits Negotiable hourly rate based on experience Company phone and laptop Company vehicle available from our Eden Terrace depot for work-related site visits A flexible combination of field-based and work-from-home responsibilities Training in our systems and procedures A varied role with autonomy and genuine responsibility A supportive, multicultural team environment About us Precision Cleaning Services Ltd is an established Auckland cleaning company operating since 2010.
