QA/QC - Data Centre Construction | 2 Positions

Sydney | October 2026 Start | Contract to Mid-2029 | Daily Rate NOW Energy is seeking 2 experienced QA/QC construction professionals for long-term contract opportunities on a major Sydney data centre construction project . These are client-side quality positions working closely with the project delivery team, General Contractor, construction, commissioning, engineering and other key stakeholders. The Opportunity 2 x QA/QC positions Sydney-based data centre project October 2026 start Long-term contract through to approximately mid-2029 Approx. 40 hours per week Competitive daily contractor rate Major, high-profile data centre development The Role You will oversee and support the implementation of project QA/QC processes throughout construction, ensuring works conform to project specifications, quality standards and agreed project requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing Project Quality Management Plans Developing and executing project quality audit plans Conducting construction quality audits and inspections Identifying and managing non-conformances and corrective actions Analysing quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement Reviewing contractor quality documentation and certifications Working closely with construction and commissioning teams Reporting audit findings, quality issues and recommendations Supporting continuous improvement of QA/QC processes Ensuring adherence to project specifications and applicable standards The role requires someone comfortable operating in a complex construction environment and working collaboratively with the General Contractor and multiple project stakeholders. About You Ideally, you will bring: Significant construction QA/QC experience Data centre experience highly regarded Alternatively, experience on complex MEP-intensive, industrial, infrastructure or mission-critical projects Strong understanding of structured Quality Management Systems Experience across MEP and/or CSA construction Construction and/or commissioning experience Strong auditing, NCR and corrective-action experience Knowledge of ISO 9000/quality standards Experience with BIM, Bluebeam or construction management systems advantageous Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills The client's preferred profile includes substantial construction experience, with senior candidates bringing approximately 10–15 years' experience across building construction, MEP/CSA, quality management and/or commissioning.
