Position: Supplier Quality Engineer (Global SQE) Working location: Chonburi Working day: Monday - Friday / 08:00 - 17:00 Job Descriptions: Conduct or lead supplier audits to verify compliance with quality standards, manufacturing processes, and company requirements. Perform on-site supplier visits and drive prompt resolution of quality issues and non-conformances. Lead structured problem-solving initiatives, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions using the 8D methodology. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to enhance product quality and optimize manufacturing processes. Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives and participate in the qualification and validation of new components. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams. Evaluate suppliers' manufacturing, engineering, and operational capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives and quality expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supplier quality performance and technical capabilities. Partner with the Commodity Management team to identify, assess, and qualify new PCB suppliers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience , or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and technologies. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, quality standards, and quality management systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Good in both written and spoken English. Familiarity with automotive quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, FMEA, and PPAP. Experience conducting supplier audits and/or holding audit-related certifications is highly desirable, particularly within the automotive industry.
