About Us Mech Supply Ltd is an established Auckland-based sheet metal fabrication business specialising in the manufacture and installation of HVAC ductwork and associated sheet metal products. Based in Albany, Auckland, we work across a range of commercial HVAC projects, manufacturing everything from square and spiral ductwork through to plenums, transitions and custom-fabricated components. We’re a practical, hands-on team that takes pride in producing quality work. We value reliability, good workmanship and people who are prepared to get stuck in and be part of the team. What You'll be Doing Fabrication and installation of square/rectangular HVAC ductwork Fabrication and installation of round and spiral ductwork Manufacturing and fitting plenums, transitions, offsets, elbows, reducers and branches Reading and interpreting HVAC/shop drawings and duct layouts Measuring, marking out, cutting, folding and assembling sheet metal Using guillotine, brake press, Pittsburgh lock, swaging and other sheet-metal machinery Installing flanges, cleats, hangers, supports, access panels and dampers Sealing ductwork with mastic, sealant and approved tapes to minimise air leakage Working with materials such as galvanised steel, aluminium and stainless steel Ensuring ductwork is fabricated accurately to dimensions and installed to specification Working safely on construction sites and coordinating with other trades\ Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations Ready to Apply?
