Flooring Installer | Commercial Vinyl

About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Vinyl Flooring Installer to join our Carpet Court team in Dunedin. We have a specific need for someone with proven commercial vinyl installation experience who can confidently deliver high-quality flooring installations across a range of commercial projects. This is a full-time, permanent position offering $30–$40 per hour depending on your experience and capability, with consistent work and the support of an established local and national flooring business. Your day-to-day will include: Installing commercial sheet vinyl and resilient flooring products Preparing subfloors and surfaces ready for installation Measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing flooring accurately Working from job specifications and plans Completing installations in line with current NZ flooring standards and industry practices Delivering a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail Communicating with customers, site contacts and the wider Carpet Court team Following site and company Health & Safety requirements Taking ownership of jobs and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard About You We’re looking for someone who has: Proven commercial vinyl flooring installation experience Experience working on commercial flooring projects Confidence measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing vinyl flooring Knowledge of current flooring installation standards and best practice Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Good communication and customer service skills Strong time management and the ability to work independently A clean, unrestricted Class 1 New Zealand Driver Licence You’ll be reliable, safety-focused and take pride in delivering a quality finish for every customer.
