Security Systems Installer

About the role This is a full or part time, on-site Security Systems Installer, or Electrician, role based in Auckland. The candidate will install CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and related electronic security systems at client sites working alongside the DankoSec team. Key responsibilities Reading and interpreting drawings Running and terminating cables Mounting and aligning cameras and sensors in line with company standards Interacting with clients on-site to explain system functionality Ensuring installations comply with safety regulations and security best practices About you Proven experience installing and maintaining access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems or solid qualified Electrical background Experience in low-voltage wiring installation, cable management, and hardware mounting Familiarity with health and safety regulations, safe use of power tools, and working at height where required Good communication and English writing skills Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and complete work to agreed schedules and quality standards Relevant trade qualification, or equivalent practical experience in electrical and/or security systems Experience with Honeywell or Lenel systems is a bonus Electrical background is a bonus Valid NZ driver's license and ability to travel to client sites in the greater Auckland area Ability to pass any required background checks in line with security industry and client requirements Minimum 10 years' experience, preferably more, working with onsite installations which are sometimes on construction sites About us DankoSec (NZ) Limited is a specialist security systems company established in the UK in 2004, and with a branch in Auckland NZ opening in 2015, and are focused on the installation and maintenance of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control solutions.
