Our Story: About Us: Nicholson Autos is a locally owned, multi-franchise dealership that has proudly served the Waikato community for over 40 years. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician or Auto Electrician to join our high-performing workshop in Morrinsville. Whether you're looking for a fresh challenge, greater stability, or the opportunity to further develop your technical skills, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role: As a key member of our workshop team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs Completing work in line with manufacturer specifications Using diagnostic equipment and technical information effectively Maintaining accurate workshop documentation Contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional workshop environment What We’re Looking For: We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and values being part of a professional team. NZ Qualified automotive technician or Automotive Electrician Strong diagnostic and fault finding abilities. Relevant trade qualifications WOF authority (preferred but not essential) A full, clean NZ driver’s license. A positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship. Dealership experience is a bonus, but not essential. Most importantly we are looking for someone who wants to develop their career and be part of a business who values it's people.
