D3 Projects – North Shore, Auckland Full-time | Minimum 5 years’ experience Join D3 Projects at an exciting stage of our growth D3 Projects is an established Auckland-based design and manufacturing business specialising in high-quality custom joinery, retail displays, commercial fit-outs and bespoke fabrication. After eight years in business, we’re ready to bring our first permanent cabinet maker into the team . This is an important role for us. Until now, the two business owners have remained heavily involved in the hands-on manufacture and installation of our projects. As our workload continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced cabinet maker who can take ownership of much of the day-to-day cabinet making and help us increase our production capacity. You’ll be working directly alongside the two owners and becoming a key part of a small, experienced and ambitious team. The role We’re looking for an experienced, practical and reliable cabinet maker with a minimum of five years’ industry experience . This is a hands-on role covering both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation. Our projects are varied. One week you might be building high-end commercial joinery, the next a custom retail display, showroom, point-of-sale unit or one-off fabrication project. We need someone who can be given drawings and direction, understand what needs to happen, and get on with the job without needing to be constantly managed . At the same time, this is very much a supporting role to the two business owners . We’re looking for someone who works well as part of a team, takes direction when required and is happy to pitch in wherever needed to get a project across the line. What we're looking for Minimum 5 years’ cabinet making/joinery experience Strong workshop manufacturing skills Good commercial fit-out and installation experience Ability to confidently read and work from drawings High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Ability to problem-solve and think for yourself Comfortable working independently when required Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines Good communication and a positive attitude Someone who takes pride in producing quality work Full NZ driver's licence A practical, team-focused attitude — no egos, just good people producing good work Why D3?
