Business Development Director, Data Center Facility Solutions

Responsibilities: Market Expansion & Client Development Identify and target key clients in sectors such as hyperscale data centers, cloud service providers, and enterprises undergoing digital transformation Develop and execute BD strategies to achieve annual sales targets for data center energy solutions (e.g., smart power modules, cooling systems, and AI-driven management platforms) Strategic Partnerships Establish and maintain relationships with infrastructure partners, energy suppliers, and government bodies to support green data center initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., technical, product, and delivery) to design customized solutions integrating renewable energy, hydrogen power, and energy storage Solution Design & Negotiation Lead technical discussions with clients to align Huawei’s offerings (e.g., FusionPower, iSitePower, AIDC solutions) with their sustainability and efficiency goals Manage contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships Industry Insight & Ecosystem Building Monitor trends in data center energy efficiency (e.g., PUE optimization), renewable integration, and policy shifts in Hong Kong’s digital infrastructure landscape Represent Huawei at industry events to enhance brand visibility and promote thought leadership in green data center innovation Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Energy Management, Business, or related fields Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Engineering Solutions sales, with project experience from Data Center is a plus 5+ years in business development, sales, or partnership roles within data center infrastructure, energy solutions, or ICT sectors Proven track record in managing large-scale projects involving hyperscale clients, renewable energy, or digital infrastructure Strong understanding of data center operations, energy efficiency metrics (e.g., PUE), and sustainability trends Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus About us Huawei International Co., Ltd is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices.
