ABOUT THE JOB Are you a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys working across functions and driving business value beyond sourcing and purchasing? We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to take ownership of our end-to-end procurement activities supporting the sourcing of LPG-related products, engineering equipment, general office supplies, supplier & strategic service contract management. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on procurement professional to influence business decisions, strengthen supplier partnerships, and contribute to operational excellence across the organization. In this role, you will lead sourcing initiatives from market assessment and vendor evaluation through to negotiation, contract development, and supplier performance management. You will work closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal & Compliance, giving you broad exposure to both commercial and strategic business matters. Reporting to the Legal & Compliance Manager, you will also play a key role in contract management, ensuring commercial terms are practical, enforceable, and aligned with governance requirements while mitigating business risks. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead end-to-end procurement activities for LPG-related equipment and materials, including LPG tanks, cylinders, vaporizers, piping systems, valves, meters and related components, ensuring quality, safety and cost-effectiveness. Manage the sourcing and procurement of services, including transportation, contractor services, engineering works, pipework projects, and lease renewals. Develop and execute effective procurement strategies, including RFQ, RFP, and tendering processes, to maximize commercial value, mitigate risk, and support business objectives. Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, contractual terms, service levels, and delivery schedules to achieve budget targets and key performance indicators. Contribute to ERP and procurement system enhancement initiatives, driving process improvements, data accuracy, and procurement best practices. Perform supplier evaluations, audits, and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, safety regulations, and technical standards. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve product quality issues, manage supply risks, and ensure the timely delivery of critical equipment and services. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement, reliability, and long-term partnership value. Support ad-hoc procurement initiatives and projects assigned by the supervisor. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree or above in Procurement & Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering or relevant discipline. At least 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, exposure to utilities, energy or engineering industries is an advantage. Proven experience in sourcing, tender management, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and procurement governance. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess cost, quality, operational impact, and business risk when making procurement decisions. Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships Excellent organizational skills and communication skills. Pro-active, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office applications; ERP system implementation or enhancement experience is an advantage. Excellent written and spoken Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage. Candidates with exposure to finance, legal, compliance, contract management, or other business disciplines are highly valued, as this role requires a broad commercial perspective beyond traditional procurement responsibilities.
