Tender Specialist, Freight Forwarder

About the role DSV Air & Sea Ltd. is seeking a talented Tender Specialist, Freight Forwarder to join our team at our Lat Krabang Bangkok facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our business development strategy within the import/export and customs logistics sector. As a Tender Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive tender proposals for freight forwarding contracts. This role is integral to securing new business opportunities and maintaining our competitive position in the dynamic Southeast Asian logistics market. You will work on-site at our Bangkok location, collaborating with sales, operations, and finance teams to deliver compelling proposals that win contracts and drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities Coordinate with TH pricing team (Air and Sea), Customs broker team, Cross border and Road team (ROA) for pricing and submit Bidding in due time. Analyze Tender (RFQ) and distribute to the internal stakeholders, and review/validate information received from the internal stakeholders Oversee the entire tender management process which includes the development of response format / pricing matrix / responding to queries to timely submission of RFI, RFP and RFQ to customers / sponsors Provide a quality proposal to a bidding sponsor for validation and submission to the client Analyze tenders and recommend optimum business solutions Support and maintain pricing database of transportation rates, logistics/distribution rates Update a bidding (RFQ) detail and status in a Bidlog report daily Support market intelligence on competitors’ pricing, capabilities, facilities, client base, products and services for competition analysis Gather and distribute post-mortem data for all unsuccessful/successful bids Coordinate and improve current rate management for Thailand across all air freight forwarding service offering Establish, review and maintain SOPs for air freight rate management Execute RFQ/RFP activities for Thailand in an efficient and accurate manner to increase DSV’s win ratio. Support sales team, business/vertical lead for rate management for a qualify opportunity if require Build a comprehensive rates and achieved-rates depository in line with regional and global guidelines. What we're looking for Proven experience in tender preparation and proposal writing within freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade environments Strong understanding of air and sea freight operations, including import/export procedures and customs documentation Excellent knowledge of pricing models, cost structures, and commercial considerations in the freight forwarding industry Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and present complex information in clear, persuasive written formats Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance commercial objectives with client requirements Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tender submissions simultaneously Excellent communication skills in English Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently within a target-driven environment Knowledge of relevant trade agreements, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures is highly desirable What we offer At DSV Air & Sea Ltd., we are committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our employees.
