Final Trim GPS Excavator Operators $45–$55 per hour | Newcastle, Hunter & Central West NSW | Local & DIDO MHE Civil is seeking experienced Final Trim GPS Excavator Operators for ongoing work across major civil infrastructure projects in NSW. Positions are available across Newcastle, the Hunter and Maitland , along with DIDO opportunities in Central West NSW on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster . The Role You will be operating GPS-equipped excavators undertaking detailed excavation and final trim works, including: Final trim and detailed excavation Working to design levels and tight tolerances GPS machine control General civil earthworks Daily pre-starts and equipment checks Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship About You To be considered, you will have: Proven experience as a Final Trim Excavator Operator Strong GPS machine control experience Ability to confidently work to plans, levels and design Civil construction or infrastructure experience Current White Card Current SOA (Statement of Attainment) Valid VOC completed within the last two years Strong safety awareness Reliable and able to work well within a crew Ability to pass a pre-employment medical What We Offer $45–$55 per hour , depending on experience and location Above Award penalties Full-time positions Ute and fuel card for applicable roles Local work across Newcastle, the Hunter and Maitland 14 days on / 7 days off roster for DIDO roles Accommodation and meals provided for all DIDO roles Day and night shift opportunities Saturday work available for local roles Long-term, consistent work Modern, well-maintained fleet Apply Now If you’re an experienced Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator looking for your next opportunity, we’d like to hear from you.
