About the role We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Assistant / Purchaser to join our team at Senko Advanced Components. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing end-to-end purchasing activities, from forecasting demand and issuing purchase orders to negotiating prices with regional suppliers. You will serve as a key operational bridge, collaborating directly with our sales team, overseas offices, and APAC suppliers to ensure timely product deliveries and seamless supply chain execution. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing, issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), processing purchase orders, and tracking supplier commitments. Review forecast data, analyze demand trends, and adjust inventory orders to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent supply chain bottlenecks. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with APAC regional suppliers; continuously monitor supplier delivery schedules and performance. Act as a main point of contact for the China sales team and overseas offices, independently following up on sales orders and delivery status. Collaborate with internal QA teams and suppliers to promptly address, track, and resolve any quality-related or non-conformance issues. Occasionally travel to mainland China and other overseas supplier locations for vendor audits, business reviews, and operational alignment. Execute additional operational tasks and support supply chain initiatives as assigned by senior staff and management. About you Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination. Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel for demand analysis) and general supply chain software/ERP systems. Experience handling RFQs, order processing, and supplier negotiation in an international setting. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Willingness to travel to mainland China and other overseas supplier locations as required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively across regional offices and external vendors. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team-player mindset.
