About Us A-1 Bakery is a leading bakery company providing “A Grade Products” and 1 for “Number ONE Taste” for customer. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our purchasing team and help us drive accuracy and efficiency in our operations. Responsibilities • In charge of all food and non-food materials procurement • Oversee day to day procurement operations for food and non-food items, including sourcing, purchase orders and replenishment ordering. • Work with R&D and Marketing team to identify, source and launch new products that meet product launch schedule. • Liaise and negotiate with overseas and local suppliers to secure competitive prices, favourable terms and stable supply. • Conduct cost review regularly, prepare procurement and cost analysis reports, and perform ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager. • Monitor inventory level and control orders to avoid dead stock or out of stock • Handle food and non-food SKU quality / safety issues with internal parties, suppliers and factories Requirements • Degree holder preferably in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain Management / Business Management or related disciplines. • Around 3 years’ solid experience in the F&B industry, experience in bakery food and non-food material procurement is an advantage • Strategic mindset with a strong sense of continuous improvement. • Strong business acumen with hands on experience across end to end procurement operations for multi outlet operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels and external partners. • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record in cost savings and supplier performance improvement. • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Chinese word processing. • Experience in overseas sourcing and exposure to regional or international suppliers will be an advantage. • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
