Infrastructure & Operations Manager

Responsibilities žOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of BAPE's global IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and storage systems. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure to meet the demands of a global fashion retail business. Collaborate with regional teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects, such as data center expansions, network upgrades, and cloud migrations. Conduct regular capacity planning to anticipate future infrastructure needs and recommend necessary upgrades or enhancements. Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems across multiple BAPE locations, ensuring seamless functioning, high availability, and minimal downtime. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Establish and enforce IT operational policies, procedures, and standards that align with global best practices and BAPE's specific requirements. Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and effective support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management processes globally. Develop and maintain robust security measures to protect BAPE's data and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Implement and enforce security policies, access controls, threat detection measures, and incident response protocols. Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans across all BAPE locations. Lead and manage a diverse team of infrastructure and operations professionals across different regions, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute training programs to enhance the technical skills and expertise of the team members. Collaborate with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to align infrastructure initiatives with BAPE's business goals and priorities. Requirements žBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are preferred. Proven experience (8+ years) in infrastructure management and operations, preferably in the global fashion retail industry. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and global networks. Experience with retail-specific systems such as POS, inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and supply chain management systems. In-depth understanding of IT security practices, including data protection, access controls, threat detection, and incident response. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a global team, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cultures and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders globally. Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing business needs.
