About the Role As an EV Service Technician, you will be responsible for: Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing BYD electric vehicles Performing routine maintenance and manufacturer-scheduled servicing Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and EV-specific systems Current WOF inspector accredited Completing vehicle inspections and quality control checks Maintaining accurate repair orders and service documentation Supporting customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship Following BYD manufacturer standards and repair procedures Ensuring workshop safety and compliance requirements are met Participating in ongoing EV and technical training programs What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Automotive Technician status Previous dealership or franchised workshop experience Experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles (preferred) Strong electrical and diagnostic skills The ability to learn new technologies and manufacturer systems A positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving abilities A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction A full New Zealand driver's licence What We Offer Competitive remuneration package Ongoing BYD factory and EV-specific training Modern workshop and equipment Supportive team culture Secure employment with a growing automotive group Exposure to cutting-edge electric vehicle technology Why Join Adventure Motor Group?
