Building Site Manager

Convil Group is an established contractor delivering civil infrastructure and building projects across New South Wales for government authorities and private clients. Our building division delivers custom homes, duplex developments and selected commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Building Site Manager to take ownership of residential projects from commencement through to completion and handover. This role is suited to someone who can independently run multiple residential sites, coordinate trades, maintain strong safety and quality standards, and keep projects moving according to programme. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across custom homes and duplex projects Take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion and handover Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site deliveries Manage construction sequencing and drive works to meet programme and key milestones Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements Carry out site inspections, quality checks and manage defects and rectification works Coordinate required inspections, certifications and compliance documentation Maintain safe, clean and well-organised sites in accordance with WHS requirements Liaise with clients, consultants, certifiers, engineers and the internal project team Identify and resolve site issues early and provide regular progress updates Requirements Minimum 4-5 years experience in residential construction supervision or site management in NSW Manage day-to-day operations across custom homes and duplex projects Take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion and handover Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site deliveries Manage construction sequencing and drive works to meet programme and key milestones Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements Carry out site inspections, quality checks and manage defects and rectification works Coordinate required inspections, certifications and compliance documentation Maintain safe, clean and well-organised sites in accordance with WHS requirements Liaise with clients, consultants, certifiers, engineers and the internal project team Identify and resolve site issues early and provide regular progress updates What we offer Premium salary package based on experience Fully maintained company vehicle Long-term role with a strong pipeline of work Opportunity to work across custom homes, duplex developments and government projects Quality projects with strong systems and team support Opportunity to grow with an expanding business We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their sites, maintains high standards and understands the importance of safety, quality, programme and communication.
