Benefits Site based role in Alkimos Annual Salary Review Project Allowance + Discretionary Bonus Paid Parental Leave Discounted private healthcare Company shares Project Information: The Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant is a $2.8 billion project delivered under the Alkimos Seawater Alliance, a partnership between Water Corporation, ACCIONA and Jacobs. ACCIONA's scope covers the design, construction, commissioning and future operation of the 50 billion litre plant, securing long-term drinking water for Perth. About Opportunity The Lead Planner oversees the development, integration and governance of the project schedule for the Alkimos Desalination Plant, reporting to the Project Manager. You will drive the effective use of Primavera P6 and project control systems, working closely with engineering, commercial and construction teams. You'll identify schedule risks early, guide recovery strategies and ensure planning inputs stay coordinated, reliable and aligned with project objectives. Key accountabilities for the position will be: Manage and update complex SMP and EIC construction programs Perform critical path analysis and resource optimisation Measure schedule performance using earned value principles Identify schedule risks and develop recovery plans Lead resource planning, levelling and utilisation reporting Coordinate risk assessments and contingency planning Report progress and manage stakeholder expectations Qualification and Competencies: Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction Management Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software Strong background in SMP and EIC construction planning Skilled in critical path and resource analysis Confident communicator who influences stakeholders
