Data Center IT Specialist

About the role This IT Specialist role involves standardized data center operations and maintenance execution, server fault diagnosis and vendor coordination, network equipment maintenance, and routine inspections and incident reporting within an Internet Data Center (IDC) environment. Key responsibilities Strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to perform all routine data center operations, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) Efficiently complete on-site operational delivery tasks based on work order systems and business department requirements Lead troubleshooting and resolution of hardware failures within the IDC, coordinate vendor repair resources, and minimize Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) Oversee hardware replacement, debugging, and fault repair for servers under self-maintenance Track third-party vendor repair progress, manage spare parts logistics, and provide on-site technical support Manage daily commissioning and maintenance of network equipment within the IDC Perform on-site deployment, rack mounting, configuration, and repair of network devices Address routine network connectivity problems and assist with minor patching and cable management inside server racks Conduct scheduled routine inspections of the IDC environment, equipment, and systems Promptly detect anomalies and immediately report them to the IT Team Leader or IDC Service Operations Manager About you/Job Requirements Familiarity with common server brands, typical network devices, optical modules, and fiber optics used in data centers Ability to quickly diagnose system, hardware, and network faults, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills: clear articulation, fluent expression, and logical reasoning Excellent collaboration skills: capable of effective cross-departmental and team cooperation Management experience preferred Fluency in at least two of the following languages: Chinese, English, Thai
