About the role The Group Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading and managing all purchasing and procurement activities across Blue Lotus Hua Hin Group. The position ensures that goods and services are procured at the best overall value in terms of price, quality, specifications, service, delivery, reliability, and commercial terms, while maintaining transparency and compliance with the Group's purchasing policies and approval procedures. The role works closely with all business units and departments to understand operational requirements, identify suitable suppliers and contractors, negotiate competitive commercial terms, control procurement costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The Group Purchasing Manager is also responsible for developing a reliable supplier network, identifying alternative sources, monitoring supplier performance, and continuously improving procurement processes across the Group. Key responsibilities Manage and oversee purchasing and procurement activities across all companies and business units within Blue Lotus Hua Hin Group Coordinate purchasing requirements with department heads and key users to ensure specifications, quantities, required delivery dates, and budgets are clearly identified Identify, source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers, contractors, and service providers Obtain and compare competitive quotations in accordance with the Group's procurement procedures Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, service conditions, contract terms, and other commercial conditions Monitor market prices, supplier pricing, and relevant market trends to identify cost savings opportunities Review Purchase Requisitions and ensure Purchase Orders are properly issued and approved according to the Group's authorization procedures Ensure all procurement activities comply with Group purchasing policies, approval authority, budget controls, and internal procedures Lead, supervise, and develop Purchasing team members Prepare regular procurement reports for management including purchase value by category, supplier performance, and cost savings About you Experience in group procurement management or similar purchasing leadership role Knowledge of sourcing, supplier evaluation, and vendor management Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier relationships Understanding of procurement policies, compliance, and internal controls Experience with cost control, budget management, and identifying cost savings opportunities Proficiency in preparing quotation comparisons and procurement documentation Ability to work across multiple departments and business units Leadership and team management experience
