Senior Programme Director (高級課程主任) in Business Management HKU Institute for China Business Duties : Oversee the operation of the assigned programmes at the postgraduate level primarily delivered in the Mainland. Academic responsibilities encompass designing and developing the curriculum, recruiting, and assisting faculty members and guest speakers, as well as crafting promotional content for the programmes. Expertise in delivering lectures on specific subjects at the postgraduate level is highly valued. Administrative tasks involve supervising and coordinating programme marketing and promotion, student recruitment, daily programme administration, and classes management across Hong Kong and the Mainland. The appointee will be based in Hong Kong and required to travel to the Mainland from time to time. Requirements : Candidates should at least possess a master’s degree in business management related discipline with minimum 15 years relevant experience at managerial level. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Programme Director/ Programme Manager. Strong leadership and supervisory skills and capability to manage resources effectively, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. Programme management experience at postgraduate level or corporate training is preferable, and working experience in the Mainland will be a definite advantage. Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical benefits, annual leaves and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.
