The successful candidate will manage, configure, and scale the critical hardware and software platforms driving our global Cloud Security Services. Key Responsibilities Manage global backbone infrastructure using carrier-grade protocols (e.g., BGP) and architect scalable network upgrades to support increasing data demands without performance degradation. Design and maintain high-availability systems with robust failover mechanisms, while establishing rigorous disaster recovery and backup policies to ensure infrastructure stability. Schedule and execute critical software and firmware upgrades, manage access control lists (ACLs); firewalls, and secure tunnelling /VPN protocols. Work with internet service providers (ISPs) and remote data center technicians to troubleshoot physical hardware, bare-metal servers, and fibre connections. Coordinate, monitor, and validate UAT environments across global data nodes; Configure traffic logging and secure profiles for incoming partners. Manage end-to-end capital expenditure lifecycle by managing hardware inventory records and authoring safe change deployment roadmaps. Write Linux-based scripts (using Python, Ansible, or Bash) to automate repetitive network configurations, monitoring, and provisioning tasks. Actively research, pilot, and integrate AI utilities into daily network operations. Host internal knowledge-sharing sessions to maximize team adoption. Participate in regular on-call standby support operations for critical network escalations. Job Requirements & Qualifications 3–5 years in network engineering or security roles, preferably within a service provider environment with data center support familiarity. Hands-on administration of Juniper or Cisco routers, switches, and cluster firewalls. Strong understanding of BGP routing protocols, advanced troubleshooting and complex network traffic analysis. Proficiency with Linux commands and a strong mindset for writing automation scripts. Familiarity with AI agents and prompt engineering; experience with modern IDEs like Cursor is highly preferred. Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or ITIL is highly valued. Holder of CCNP or JNCIP is a plus.
