Responsibilities: Content License Acquisition & Partnership Management Identify, evaluate, and acquire content from a diverse range of sources, including local production houses, broadcasters, partners, creators, and local licensors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with content owners and partners, support or lead negotiations on commercial terms, licensing rights, and exclusivity. Project Coordination & Execution Manage the end-to-end content acquisition process—from content selection, legal and rights clearance, to delivery and localization. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, such as the Content Operations, Legal, Finance, Production, and Marketing teams, to ensure smooth content ingestion and timely launches. Track delivery schedules and quality standards, proactively resolving any issues or delays. Content Market Analysis & Performance Insights Stay up to date with local and regional content trends, including genres, formats, emerging creators, partners and audience preferences. Analyze content performance data (e.g., viewing, engagement, and retention) to provide insights for future acquisition strategies. Strategy & Planning Support Support the development of the content acquisition strategy to align with WeTV’s business objectives, brand positioning, and audience targets. Assist in forecasting budgets, evaluating deal terms, conducting ROI analysis, and consolidating information for acquisition projects to obtain greenlight approval. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in content acquisition, partnership management, or licensing ideally within OTT platforms, broadcasting, or entertainment industries. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle commercial discussions professionally. Excellent communication skills in Thai and English; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving OTT environment. Deep passion for digital entertainment, pop culture, and emerging content trends. Familiarity with contract fundamentals, licensing terms, exclusive agreements, and intellectual property rights.
