Position Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Develop, implement & maintain the 3-5-year strategic sales plan together with the MD, the senior management team of ProMinent Thailand and the Regional Sales Director Asia-Pacific. Develop and implement the annual sales budget, agreed by the MD. Work closely with the MD and the team to ensure all sales activities are aligned with the other departments to achieve the budgeted growths results of ProMinent Thailand. Direct, lead and oversee the sales management teams to achieve both individual and team goals & objectives. Meet with key clients and assist Industry Cluster Sales Manager, Sales and Regional Sales Managers with maintaining relationships. Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition. Conduct forecast and pipeline review meetings with sales managers; ensure lead generation and pipeline growth will sustain revenue targets. Create KPI’s, track and drive them. Processes should continuously improve and be further implemented. Continuously assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans. Develop the Key Account Business further by establishing good relations with the clients and ensure that ProMinent Thailand follows the international agreements. Drive, develop and implement the direct focus of the sales organization towards an industry- and application driven approach. Prepare and present regular sales reports and assist MD in preparation of the corporate report. The after-sales/service business contains further potential. Ensure we maximize this business from all our sales channels. Mapping the installed base and developing the suitable after-sales product portfolio is important. Maintains knowledge of regional/geographic market influences, customer and competitor trends and provides feedback loop back into the organization Work with Strategic Marketing in planning new customer campaigns. Establish the trade show budget and schedule and attend regularly at specialized trade fairs. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status together with the senior management team of ProMinent Thailand. Contract and commercial terms & conditions review, negotiation and coordination with different stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; with at least 10 years’ experience in or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered Economics and/or Engineering Degree Ability to see, plan for and execute strategies and ideas regarding the future of ProMinent Thailand Ability to handle, organize and coordinate multiple projects at one time and prioritize accordingly Proven history of using creativity and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to think through challenges and provide proactive solutions Proven leadership. To have the ability to develop, coach and motivate sales staff Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Thai Work collaboratively with other departments to accomplish goals Decision making Must have excellent presentation skills P&L experience Willingness and ability to frequent domestic, regional and international travel Proficient in CRM Systems, ideally experienced in SAP C4C and SAP ERP Excellent negotiation skills Sales and corporate reporting experience Regional experience for sales territory Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and currently Cambodia Strong awareness and sensitivity to market trends and industry developments Experience in sales and marketing for pumps, metering pumps, controller & sensors, water treatment equipment like UV & ozone or other industrial and engineering products/systems Experience in contract and commercial terms & conditions review and negotiation.
