Account Executive

About the role DATAKRAF SOLUTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Executive to join our accounting team on a full-time basis in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur . This is a pivotal position within our bookkeeping and small practice accounting division, where you will be instrumental in managing client accounts, delivering exceptional service, and driving business growth. The Account Executive will serve as a key liaison between our clients and internal teams and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Key responsibilities Manage and maintain the company's accounting system and oversee daily accounting operations Handle a full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payment Vouchers (PV), monthly financial reports, and statements of accounts Process invoices, receipts, and financial transactions with accuracy and attention to day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and on a timely basis Perform monthly bank reconciliations, financial analysis, invoice and cheque preparation, and collection monitoring Generate financial reports and statements in accordance with accounting standards Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify accounting queries Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor collections, payments, expenses, and cash flow Assist with audit, tax compliance and regulatory filing preparations Liaise with banks, company secretaries, tax agents, external auditors, government authorities, and other professional advisors on accounting and company-related matters Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices in bookkeeping operations What we're looking for Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 2-4 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or relevant working experience in accounting and finance Practically experience in handling a full set of accounts independently Proficiency in accounting software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly (company use Zoho Books) Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail in processing financial data Ability to work independently under pressure and through challenges, as well as part of a collaborative team Knowledge with SST compliance, tax compliance, e- Invoicing, audit work, banks processing, financial reconciliation processes (preferred) Knowledge of accounting principles relevant to small business operations (preferred) About us DATAKRAF SOLUTION SDN.
