Responsibilities: - Performs tree inspection, survey, TRA(Form 1&Form 2) - Discharges compilation of tree inventory survey records, tree risk assessment, tree remedial works - Certifies the tree works report Requirements: Academic Qualifications (1) Certificate/diploma or above qualifications in arboriculture, tree management, tree risk assessment, landscape management up to or above the standard of Level 3 in the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework, or equivalent in an appropriate discipline. and Professional Qualifications (2) Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture; or Technician Member of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom; or equivalent to the above. and Training Qualifications (TRAQ) (3) Completed and passed Comprehensive Tree Risk Assessment and Management Training Course with assessment; or completed and passed equivalent departmental training recognised by the TMO. and Work Experience (4)Has at least 3 years of work experience in tree care and is familiar with tree risk assessment/management. Candidates with lower qualifications and less work experience could be considered for Assistant Tree Inspection Officer. Registered as an “Tree Risk Assessor” under the Registration Scheme for Tree Management Personnel is preferred
