Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Program Support & Advisory Officer to provide high-level strategic advisory, executive and program support within a busy infrastructure service environment. This opportunity will support the planning, coordination and delivery of strategic initiatives, combining project and governance coordination with research, analysis, executive reporting and strategic advice. Rate: Circa $76.00 per hour + super Location: Brisbane CBD Contract Length: 12 months + possible extension Key responsibilities will include: Coordinate and monitor strategic projects and initiatives across the portfolio Prepare high-quality briefing notes, reports, presentations and executive advice Undertake research, environmental scanning and analysis to identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities Review and analyse correspondence, information and briefing requests, including sensitive and confidential matters Support the preparation of executive and ministerial briefs Provide secretariat support to governance forums, including agendas, minutes, action tracking and reporting Maintain program schedules, action registers and governance records Monitor program performance and prepare reports for executive and governance oversight Support portfolio reporting, dashboards and executive updates Identify project issues and risks and coordinate options for resolution and mitigation Support continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes and lessons learned Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Experience in project coordination, governance and/or strategic advisory roles within government or a large organisational environment Strong experience preparing executive-level advice, briefing notes, reports and presentations Demonstrated research and analytical capability, including environmental scanning and strategic analysis Experience applying project management methodologies, governance frameworks and reporting processes Experience supporting governance forums and undertaking secretariat functions Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Confidence using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Teams A relevant tertiary qualification in project management, business administration, public policy or a related discipline would be highly regarded. Experience with Content Manager and Microsoft Power BI would also be highly regarded.
