Product Director

Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Business Development Managers to achieve product revenue and profit targets. Foster a high-performance culture focused on market penetration, partner enablement, and customer success. 2. Vendor & Partnership Management Serve as the principal relationship owner for 30+ China IT brands, including Kylin OS, WPS, Ruijie, Dahua, and others. Manage the full vendor lifecycle: onboarding, strategic alignment, quarterly business reviews, contract negotiation, and escalation handling. Negotiate distribution agreements, incentive programs, and go-to-market support to maximize mutual business outcomes. 3. Business Development & Sales Pipeline Collaborate with system integrators and channel partners to drive the adoption of China technologies in government, critical infrastructure, and enterprise accounts. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; oversee forecasting, deal registration, and win/loss analysis. Identify new partnership opportunities and market segments to expand CTT Innovation’s footprint in Hong Kong and Macau. 4. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy Design and execute integrated product marketing programs, including launches, demand generation campaigns, partner training, and co-marketing with vendors. Define value propositions per brand and vertical, ensuring clear positioning around China IT transformation and digital sovereignty trends. Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to produce localized content, tools, and enablement assets. 5. Market Intelligence & Portfolio Strategy Monitor competitive landscape, technology trends, and government policies affecting the adoption of China IT solutions. Optimize the brand portfolio mix and recommend new vendor additions or portfolio adjustments based on market needs and compliance requirements. Act as the internal thought leader for China technology ecosystems, advising both internal teams and external partners. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with sales, pre-sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations, timely delivery, and high partner satisfaction. Provide feedback to vendors on product roadmap, localization requirements, and market-specific demands. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 10+ years of experience in IT distribution, channel management, product management, or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Deep familiarity with China’s IT brand ecosystem; direct experience managing vendor relationships with Chinese software, networking, or security brands is highly preferred. Strong understanding of the Hong Kong and Macau IT market, especially within government, public utilities, financial services, and other critical infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated success in building and managing sales pipelines through system integrators and channel partners. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (Mandarin fluency is essential for vendor and headquarter interactions). Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach; able to drive both high-level planning and detailed execution. Knowledge of “Xinchuang” (IT application innovation) initiatives and China-driven digital transformation trends is a significant advantage. Willingness to travel occasionally within Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China.
