Job Duties: To provide technical advice on administration, operation and configuration of equipment including database, servers, storage, and backup facilities, etc. To facilitate upgrade of system software under virtualized environment To perform problem diagnosis and performance tuning on application servers and databases (including DB2, Oracle and MySQL) for facilitation of GCIS capacity management and server configuration management To provide intensive database support including backup, recovery and high-availability configurations in complex database environment To facilitate and provide support for the relocation To assist project manager in monitoring work performance and conduct quality assurance of project deliverables from outsourced contractors To carry out other project related duties as designated by project manager Job Requirement: Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects At least 6 years' experience in IT industry Shall possess solid experience in supporting large-scale IT infrastructure (over 1,000 virtual servers) with dual-active production sites over cross-site network with SAN support for hosting e-services adopting J2EE application infrastructure on Linux systems Shall possess sound technical experience in supporting MySQL, IBM DB2 UDB and Oracle RAC database systems Shall have experience in using virtualization software including VMware 7 or above Preferably have experience in supporting RedHat Linux and RedHat JBOSS application servers Shall have experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables If interested in the above post, please send full resume with academic background, work history, current and expected salary via kmpost@clts.com For more job opportunity, please visit our website: www.clts.com The personal information collected is strictly for recruitment purpose only.
