About the role The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and hands-on HR partner to employees, business leaders, and clients, providing end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on employee relations, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations within a staff augmentation environment. The HRBP works closely with internal teams and clients to address employee concerns, support business and staffing needs, monitor key HR metrics, and drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities Act as the primary HR contact for employees, clients, and business leaders for HR-related concerns across the employee lifecycle. Partner with business leaders to support staffing needs, workforce planning, resource deployment, and employee allocation within a staff augmentation setup. Handle employee relations concerns, including coaching, counseling, grievances, disciplinary cases, and other workplace issues while ensuring proper due process and adherence to company policies. Conduct employee engagement activities, including 1:1 check-ins, town halls, onboarding and offboarding support, employee communications, and HR updates. Support employee development, performance discussions, career conversations, and retention initiatives. Monitor and report key HR metrics, including utilization, chargeability, attrition, retention, and other workforce-related indicators. Coordinate with clients, recruiters, operations, and internal teams to ensure smooth employee deployment and timely resolution of employee concerns. Manage HR administrative requirements such as employment contracts, certifications, employee records, documentation, and HR system updates. Support staffing, scheduling, workforce movement, and organizational change management initiatives as needed. Identify employee and organizational trends and recommend appropriate HR interventions to business leaders and management. About you Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or in a similar HR role. Strong experience in employee relations, case handling, coaching, counseling, and performance management. Background in IT, outsourcing, staff augmentation, or a similar service-based environment is an advantage. Experience handling multiple employees and stakeholders within a matrix or fast-paced organization. Strong communication, coaching, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Good analytical skills, with experience in HR metrics and reporting such as attrition, retention, utilization, and chargeability. Organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong employee and stakeholder management skills, business partnering and problem-solving mindset, sound judgment and decision-making, conflict resolution and mediation skills, data-driven and analytical approach, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
