Application Support Consultant/ Officer

Summary: Our client is an HK conglomerate and to cope with the business operations, they are seeking for a contract Application Support Consultant/ Officer to support their users with both functional and technical troubleshoot for their finance applications. This role will be on a 12-month renewable contract basis. Responsibilities: Support, maintain, and troubleshoot core finance business applications to keep operations running smoothly Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to investigate data misalignments and report generations Develop and maintain automated scripts and Excel tools to automate manual repetitive business tasks Log, prioritize, and resolve technical issues, escalating complex bugs to development teams when needed Requirements: Holder of Diploma or above in IT, business or relevant diciplines from a recognized insituation Familiar with SQL, Python: Experience writing scripts for data manipulation, routine task automation, or API integrations Excel Macros / VBA: Ability to build and maintain automated spreadsheets and tools Nice-to-Have: Experience with RPA tools, such as UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism Problem-Solving: Good analytical skills with a knack for digging into logs and finding root causes
