About the role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive (AP, GL/AR) to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable (AP) / General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate accounting records and timely completion of financial activities. Job Responsibilities : Accounts Payable (AP) Perform invoice processing by matching and verifying supplier invoices against receiving documents and purchase requisitions/orders. Process adjustments to supplier and payable ledgers for credit notes/debit notes received from suppliers and contractors. Receive and verify payment requisitions together with supporting documents. Prepare payment vouchers or payment instructions for authorisation. Prepare weekly and monthly payment listings for proposed payments. Monitor payment status and long-outstanding supplier balances. Maintain supplier ledgers and ageing reports. Reconcile supplier statements with accounting records and rectify discrepancies. Update daily cash flow reports and ensure sufficient funds for daily payments. Monitor and update fixed asset listings. Record office expenditures and ensure expenses are within the approved budget. General Ledger (GL) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Monitor customer billings, receivable balances and receipts. Prepare and monitor AR ageing reports. Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement and other financial reports. Prepare period-end journals and update the accounting system. Monitor accruals and prepayment schedules. Maintain investment accounts, including other investments and investments in subsidiaries, where applicable. Maintain finance lease and borrowing payment schedules and disclosures. Compile and monitor PDC accounts. Draft financial statements for review. Assist in budget preparation and budget-versus-actual analysis. Complete period-end analysis and reporting. Perform other duties as assigned by the superior. Job Requirements : Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to AP, GL and AR. Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software. Good understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and high-volume environment. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
