Job Summary The Presales Engineer plays a key role in supporting DCSS Technology’s expanding IT solutions business by combining technical expertise with strong relationship‑building capabilities. This position is responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing appropriate technical solutions, and collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and supplier partners to deliver high‑quality proposals and demonstrations. The role also involves applying the company’s presales policies and methodologies to ensure consistent standards across all presales activities, while strengthening supplier relationships to develop long‑term strategic partnerships that drive joint business growth and innovation. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise to support the sales team throughout the sales cycle Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals Develop solution designs, architectures, BOMs, and cost estimates Respond to technical inquiries, RFPs, and RFIs Coordinate with internal teams to validate solution feasibility and alignment Participate in proof‑of‑concept (POC) activities when required Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company products, technologies, and industry trends Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers to support joint business opportunities Apply company presales policies, standards, and methodologies in daily operations Maintain structured records of presales activities in accordance with company guidelines Prepare and manage general presales tasks such as requirement gathering, solution mapping, documentation, and internal handover following company‑defined processes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in a technical, presales, or solution support role Basic understanding of networking, server, storage, or cloud solutions Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences Strong presentation, communication, and documentation skills Proficiency in English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications Experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical sales Hands‑on experience with product demos, POCs, or solution design Relevant industry certifications (cloud, networking, server, security, or software platforms) Strong problem‑solving skills and customer‑facing experience Proactive approach to gathering customer requirements Experience collaborating with sales teams and cross‑functional technical teams
