Our client is a well-established and successful organization with a strong reputation for delivering quality products and services across New Zealand's building industry. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their finance team on a 12 mth fixed-term contract (opportunity for permanency) This role offers flexible part-time hours , a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy finance function. Based in Hamilton, this position would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in the work they do. About the role Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, and raising and processing customer invoices accurately and on time. Investigating and resolving account queries in a professional manner Reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records Allocating incoming payments and processing adjustments where required. Preparing AR reports and supporting month-end activities Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Assisting with general finance administration as required About you Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Finance Administration positions Strong reconciliation and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation in a flexible part-time role where your contribution will be valued.
