The Operations Assistant Manager / Manager plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring alignment with company objectives. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close engagement with customers across commercial and operational matters, including contract management and renewals. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Compliance Lead operational activities to ensure service excellence, achievement of KPIs, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all safety, security, quality, and regulatory requirements, including Hong Kong Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD). Maintain and enforce operational procedures, policies, and best practices across the organization. Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where necessary. Financial & Business Performance Manage program and operational P&L responsibilities, ensuring costs remain within approved budgets. Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance profitability and operational effectiveness. Team Leadership & Development Build and maintain a high-performance, collaborative team culture. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback and training. Conduct on-the-job training to improve employee capability, productivity, and engagement. Promote accountability, ownership, and operational excellence within the team. Client Relationship & Inventory Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and maintain strong working relationships. Ensure excellent service delivery through proactive communication and issue resolution. Lead inventory management and control processes to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity. Conduct regular reconciliations between physical inventory and system records, including client-managed inventory and consignment stock. Monitor inventory performance and implement actions to minimize discrepancies. Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure high standards of quality, documentation, and operational processes. Lead process optimization projects, system enhancements, and operational improvement initiatives. Identify and implement best practices to improve inventory accuracy, service quality, and business performance. Additional Responsibilities Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the reporting manager or headquarters. Support broader business initiatives and organizational objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, healthcare logistics, or contract logistics. Demonstrated leadership and people management experience. Strong financial acumen with exposure to budget and P&L management. Knowledge of inventory management systems and operational controls. Familiarity with GDPMD and regulated healthcare environments is an advantage. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment. Working Location: Kwai Chung, Hong Kong
