We are looking for an analytical and forward-thinking Purchasing Manager ( Sourcing focus , Supplier Intelligence ) to actively explore and strengthen our Finished Goods sourcing strategy across Asia and emerging markets. In this role, you will systematically map, investigate, and evaluate the global manufacturing landscape to uncover next-generation suppliers, analyze evolving product and technology trends, and track key industry players. What’s in it for you: Supplier Scouting & Market Mapping Drive proactive supplier scouting initiatives across APAC to identify and pre-qualify high-potential finished goods suppliers Conduct in-depth market research to build and maintain a strong sourcing pipeline Explore emerging manufacturing zones (particularly in Southeast Asia) to diversify sourcing opportunities and mitigate geographic risks Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date supplier database covering active, potential, and emerging players Industry Player & Competitor Landscape Analysis Monitor competitors’ manufacturing footprints, partnerships, and capabilities to maintain competitive advantage Track market developments including supplier performance, mergers & acquisitions, and capacity shifts Analyze macroeconomic factors such as raw material trends, supply constraints, and geopolitical risks impacting supplier stability Product, Technology & Innovation Trends Analyze global consumer and product trends to anticipate future sourcing needs Identify and evaluate suppliers with advanced technologies and innovative capabilities Support sustainability objectives by sourcing partners with strong environmental and eco-friendly manufacturing practices Investigation, Evaluation & Intelligence Reporting Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments covering technical capabilities, quality systems, and financial health Develop structured intelligence reports highlighting supplier risks, logistics considerations, and operational strengths Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic sourcing decisions Who we are looking for: Degree in Engineering, Purchasing, or related discipline Minimum 15 years of experience, including 10+ years in purchasing/ sourcing Willingness and ability to travel within Southeast Asia and Mainland China Professional experience in supplier management and expert in costing and negotiation Knowledge of small appliances and cookware products, market and suppliers Experience in Asian culture and people Comfortable in complex human networks, capable of efficient influence over non-hierarchical fellow Good level of communication, negotiation and leadership skills Fluent in English and Mandarin We offer attractive remuneration package to the right candidate including 5-day work, double pay, discretionary bonus, family leave & birthday leave, medical, dental, life insurance scheme, etc. Interested parties please apply with full resume with expected salary and current salary to Human Resources Department.
