Procurement Specialist (Indirect,MRO, CAPEX - Food)

About the role We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist – Indirect / CAPEX / MRO to manage sourcing and purchasing activities for factory operations, including CAPEX, MRO, machinery spare parts, engineering supplies, maintenance materials, and other indirect procurement categories. The role will be responsible for supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, cost optimization, purchasing execution, and supplier management to ensure the availability of critical materials and equipment while achieving competitive cost and quality. Key responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement for MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) categories Source and purchase machinery spare parts, mechanical parts, electrical components, tools, maintenance materials, consumables, and engineering supplies Handle urgent and critical spare-part requirements to support uninterrupted factory operations Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network for MRO and engineering-related materials Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Production teams Manage procurement activities for CAPEX projects, including machinery, production equipment, factory equipment, engineering systems, and related services Source potential suppliers and contractors and conduct RFQ/RFP processes Analyze technical and commercial quotations and prepare comparison sheets Negotiate equipment pricing, payment terms, warranty, installation, commissioning, delivery, and after-sales service Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers locally and internationally About you Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field 3–7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain, preferably within manufacturing, food manufacturing, oil&gas, Chemical, FMCG, or industrial environments Strong experience in MRO procurement and machinery spare parts Experience in CAPEX procurement, including machinery, production equipment, engineering projects, or factory equipment Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, automation, engineering, and maintenance-related materials Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience in RFQ/RFP, quotation comparison, cost analysis, and contract negotiation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good command of English, both written and spoken Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems
