We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Hong Kong. This is a great opportunity for a strong sales hunter who enjoys opening new doors, building meaningful client relationships, and closing deals in the fast-moving digital media space. While our solutions focus on cross-border digital advertising, we are looking for someone with solid media sales experience, a strong understanding of the Hong Kong agency landscape, and the confidence to engage both media agencies and direct brands. In this role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure — while helping clients discover effective digital media and cross-border advertising solutions. What You’ll Do Drive the full sales process from initial prospecting to deal closing, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly gross profit and revenue targets. Build and deepen relationships with digital marketing agencies, including 4As and independent agencies, and secure inclusion in media plans. Identify, approach, and pitch to direct clients to win direct-to-brand business and diversify the revenue pipeline. Actively hunt for new business opportunities across both agency and direct client channels to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline. Understand clients’ marketing objectives and work closely with internal strategy teams to propose effective digital media and cross-border advertising solutions. Lead client presentations, clearly communicate our value proposition to media planners, buyers, and brand owners, and negotiate commercial terms. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends in Hong Kong and the wider region to effectively position our solutions in the market. Support proposal preparation and participate in ad hoc projects when required. Who You Are Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, media sales, business development, or a related sales role. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Executive position. Proven experience selling to both media agencies and direct clients is essential. You should understand how agencies plan campaigns and also have the confidence to pitch directly to brands. A strong existing network of media planners, buyers, and brand marketers in the Hong Kong market is highly preferred. Experience or knowledge in China-focused digital advertising solutions is preferred. Candidates who are keen to learn about China solutions will also be considered. A true sales hunter at heart — proactive, resilient, self-motivated, and motivated by achieving targets and closing deals. Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics, media planning, and the Hong Kong digital media ecosystem. Hands-on experience in proposal preparation and willingness to support ad hoc projects when needed. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills in English and Cantonese.

Singapore alone has 5,920 of them. India has 3,543. The US has 2,443. If you're looking at a marketing role, geography matters: check WorkMundi's location filters to see which regions match your visa status and timezone. Don't apply everywhere; apply where you can actually work.

Four employers are posting at scale: SIMPLE RECRUIT (1,205 jobs), ROYAL ORG PTE. LTD. (795), SKILLMATCH RECRUITMENT (435), and jobgether (371). If you see a job from one of these names, you're looking at a company that hires marketing roles repeatedly. That's a signal of stability—and a chance to learn their hiring patterns across multiple openings.

In your interview, expect this question: 'Tell us about a time you measured the success of a campaign.' Marketing hiring managers ask this because they want proof you think in metrics, not hunches. Come with a real example—conversions, clicks, revenue, engagement rate, cost per acquisition—pick the metric that mattered most. Show you track what you do.

16,882 of these 27,322 job ads have text written in English. That's the ad itself, not necessarily the language the job requires. Read the job description carefully to confirm what languages the role needs.
