Finance Manager

About the role This a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Finance Manager to join an established Not for Profit organisation based in Wellington’s vibrant CBD on a permanent basis and take ownership of their finance function! The role reports into the director and provides hands on financial leadership to the wider business through exceptional financial and management accounting expertise. You’ll be responsible for managing a small team of accounting professionals who will support you with transactional accounts payables, receivables, and credit control processes. This role is best suited for a Finance Manager or Controller who has had detailed exposure to the not for profit or charity sector. What you’ll be doing As an experienced Finance Manager, you will be expected to have the following skill set. CA or CPA Qualification At least 3 – 5 years of hands-on finance management experience Recent people / team leadership experience Solid financial controls and cashflow management Budgeting / forecasting / fixed assets / capex and opex reporting / AP & AR oversight Payroll function management and oversight Month and year end processes along with audit preparation Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships swiftly.
