Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to be the main contributor in developing and maintaining our Customer Data Platform (CDP) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a key role in building and managing data pipelines, ensuring database reliability, and providing data solutions to support business processes and reporting needs across departments. Key Responsibilities: •CDP Development & Maintenance: Contribute to the design, build, and ongoing improvement of our Customer Data Platform (CDP) on GCP. •Data Pipeline Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines using Apache Airflow, SQL, and related GCP tools (such as Dataform and SQLX). •Data Manipulation & Reporting: Use Python (pandas) for data manipulation and analysis to support other departments with business processes and reporting requirements. •Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data pipelines and workflows to uphold data quality, accuracy, and consistency. •Team Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering colleagues, share knowledge, and assist junior team members as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role. •Strong working knowledge of Apache Airflow for building and managing data workflows. •Proficiency in SQL and database management. •Experience using Python (with pandas) for data manipulation and analysis. •Hands-on experience with GCP data tools, especially Dataform or SQLX, is a plus. •Good communication and teamwork skills; comfortable guiding and supporting junior team members. •Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
